Highly recommended

The staff is very friendly. We went on an afternoon (till sunset) elephant drive for a good 4 hours, saw some (baby) elephants, and a beautiful sunset. Highly recommend it. In the morning, we drove ourselves (2x4 drive) to the Twyfelfontein rock engravings 3km from the lodge. The grounds, pool area, main and room buildings are beautiful. Marvelous setting against the red rocks and open view on the other side.

The double bed was too narrow (max 1m40) for us... we are both relatively tall (>1m82) people.

Great location nestled in the mountains, good size rooms, comfy beds and great staff.

Amazing location, great friendly staff, good food. Nice to have a swimming pool too.

the lodge is nicely located for a visit to Twijfelfontein. the reception, bar and restaurant are very nice and well cared for. breakfast and dinner are very good. buffet style The positive response stops there

Far too high a price for a room with air conditioning that is extremely loud. The air conditioning only works when you are in your room. So absolute cooling is impossible. the key for the air conditioning is attached to the key for the entrance and should be taken with you when you leave the room So do not go in the months of December, January or February Wifi is only available for a fee and even then at a very high price. (Better buy a month's subscription on arrival in Namibia - same price and valid for a month) The rooms are outdated. An 8 is even a (too) high score in my opinion

we had one staf member who tried to secretly sell us a tour instead of that offered by the lodge. he took us to an area behind the rocks where he would not be overheard. It seemed quite dodgy

Great place to stay on our Namibian road trip

The staff were very friendly, very helpful. The facilities are lovely, small pool area to relax and comfy sunbeds, lovely bar area and buffet breakfast lunch and dinner were very good! Our room was nice, on the small side but no issue for us. Did the river drive and saw elephants and then had sundowners.

Breakfast was adequate, selfservice plus warm kitchen (omelettes). Personnel was helpful, attentive and obliging.

Lovely location with quick access to Twyfelfontein valley. Charged WIFI and drinking water.

The location was unique with ancient rock cavings within the hotel! The view from the resturant was great and the food was excellent for a buffet. The staff were kind and attentive. Super close to the Twyfelfontein rock paintings valley.

The rooms were far from the center of the hotel, so not convienient. We had to move our car to drop off our luggage. There were several families staying with young children. Although a lodge, this felt the most like a hotel off all the lodges we stayed at in namibia. This was the only hotel in namibia that we stayed at that did not offer free wifi. There was no free water to drink, again the only place we stayed at that was like this.

Villa for an unique experience at Twyfelfontein

I recommend to everyone to choose the villa. 90m2, perfectly decorated, own swimming pool with a beautiful view !

Despite the villa, the hotel was not amazing : Paid Wifi, Average Food Buffet. I still rate 9/10 because again, the villa is unique ! (even if the value for money could be better).

Ok for a night stay

Awesome location! Located only minutes away from Twyfelfontein. The public areas were clean and well-maintained. The staffs were friendly and well-trained. Dinner and breakfast was good. We also really enjoyed the morning safari drive.

Our room was a bit run-down and not as clean. The AC was not working when we checked in. They had to send a mechanic to fix the AC for us.

Great gateway to Damaraland

Beautifully situated in the natural rock landscape. Close to many interesting sights like the rock art. Lovely pool and outdoor area. Great service. Simple but good food.

Impressive lodge building with a great view of surrounding landscape from the bar/ restaurant

Location was excellent, near rock paintings and living museum

Felt the room was very dark and on the small side. However we were very grateful to have been given a savannah view (which we requested) rather than a rock view, which I can imagine would be darker ? We also requested rooms near each other and our request was honoured. Pool was a little disappointing in terms of size, however it was clean. Parking your vehicle away from the rooms was a bit of an inconvenience especially as you are tired after a long days drive, Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
